Why do HiiT?
High intensity interval training or HiiT combines short periods of intense exercise with short periods of rest. It has been purported to be one of the best types of exercise for fat loss but why is this the case?
Increased afterburn effect – the greater your intensity, the greater the afterburn effect, the process of burning extra calories long after your workout is over.
Helps reduce stomach fat – HiiT creates a metabolic environment that stimulates a higher proportional release of abdominal fat.
Improved Vo2 Max – doing HiiT will result in significant improvements in VO2 max, your body’s max capacity to transport and use oxygen during exercise (a great measure of physical fitness). This improvement can be achieved whether you are a beginner exerciser or an advanced athlete.
Burns more total fat compared to endurance training – even when burning a fraction of the calories.
Builds muscle while losing fat – HiiT increases lean body mass, while at the same time reducing total body fat. The additional muscle then increases your resting metabolic rate so that you’re burning extra calories at all times of the day.

Why do Fitness Pilates?
Doing a regular Fitness Pilates workout is a great way to change the shape of your body. Incorporated with a healthy diet and regular cardio exercise, doing pilates will help to tone your body and make your muscles longer and leaner over time.
Pilates uses controlled movements, primarily focused in your “core” to build body strength, flexibility and endurance. It’s a body conditioning routine that won’t result in bulky muscles. Instead, the movements serve to lengthen your muscles as it strengthens them. Our Fitness Pilates is mat-based, where you do a series of movements using a mat on the floor. Pilates has the power to dramatically transform the way your body looks. It will give you a sleek, toned body with a flattened abdomen and slender thighs in addition to better posture.
Any form of exercise will benefit you not only physically, but mentally as well. Pilates is no exception. Pilates teaches you to control and balance your body and mind, often focusing on the quality of a movement rather than the quantity, so you’re getting both a physical and mental workout in your exercise.
Pilates’ power also lies in the fact that anyone can do it. It isn’t high impact and there is little jarring and stress placed upon your body.
Why do Kettlebell training?
Kettlebells are all bells, no whistles. Resembling a mini bowling ball with a handle, kettlebells are great for cardio, strength, and flexibility training.
The weights offer all the benefits of dumbbell training, plus a few more. The super-thick handles challenge your grip, and the position of the weight in relation to the handle works your core extra hard.
Best of all, kettlebells are versatile. They’re ideal for explosive exercises that work major muscles, burn body fat, and build power, but they also add a new dimension to classic moves like chest presses and flys.
The weight of a kettlebell hangs a few inches below its handle, which makes it more difficult to control. Everything from your grip to your core has to work harder than if you were using a dumbbell, so you get more out of even standard dumbbell moves. This extra muscle activity means your body burns more calories. Couple that with exercises that target the whole body and you have a formula for significant fat loss.
Why do PureStretch?
Exercise in any form can be of great benefit to the body. It keeps you fit and healthy and makes you feel good about yourself. Although stretching is one of the main components of fitness, it is also one of the most neglected. PureStretch classes involve stretch routines, core strengthening and relaxation and are designed to be light hearted, stimulating and interactive. They are choreographed in such a way that all levels of fitness can attend and enjoy.
Benefits of participating in a PureStretch class include:

Why do Boot Camp?
Boot Camps are designed to build strength and fitness through group interval training. They promote fat loss, well being and confidence. Everyone works at their own pace and sometimes team up to work with others to build team spirit. Even though Boot Camps originate from the military, you don’t have to train like a soldier, or get yelled at like one, to lose weight and get in shape. Our Boot Camps are fun including group intervals and more traditional workouts.
